SIGN UP NOW FOR OUR ‘VICTORY OR VALHALLA’ WINTER LEAGUE STARTING 11TH OCTOBER 2024
How much do we charge?
We charge 600Kč per person for 90 minutes of axe throwing. If you have a group of 20+ and for corporate events, please reach out to us for more details.
How do I get to the venue?
We are located here in the centre of Prague, just a ten minute walk from Wenceslas Square.
You can reach us by metro (Národní Třída) and by tram (Myslíkova/Lazarská/Národní Třída). Look out for our flag!
Is it safe?
All of our instructors have been trained to show you how to throw an axe safely and to make sure all the rules are followed accordingly. Our lanes have been specifically designed to meet the IATF guidelines and our instructors are first aid trained.
Is it hard?
After we show you how to throw an axe you will have some time to practice and perfect your technique. If your first few throws don’t stick – don’t worry, we will assist you to help you perfect your throwing. You can get good at axe throwing very quickly and remember practice makes perfect.
What to expect?
When you arrive at our location just buzz the AXES next to the main door and we will take you down to where the fun begins. We will go through a 10-15 minute introduction to the space, rules and give you a demonstration. After a few practice throws we will begin with the fun and games! You can pick up the skill of axe throwing pretty quickly but it remains challenging enough to keep you competing with your friends for hours. Of course you’ll be able to buy drinks at the bar so you’re throwing like a true lumberjack.
How long is a session?
Each session lasts 90 minutes but please arrive at least 5-10 mins early for your slot, that way we can get the boring stuff out of the way and you’ll have more time throwing axes!
How much is it?

Yes – as long as it is in good condition and meets the IATF regulations.
Can this activity accommodate my disability?
Axe throwing is suitable for everyone, however please be aware that lack of mobility in your arms/shoulders may be an issue. If you are unsure please consult your doctor or drop us a message if you would like some advice. We do have a set of stairs to our venue so please keep this in mind.
Can I play if I’m pregnant?
We don’t recommend it, throwing axes can be quite strenuous and we would hate something to happen!
Can we wear fancy dress?
Of course – especially if you’re dressing up as Vikings! Please note, if you’re wearing anything that others may find offensive we may ask you to remove it. You should also be wearing something that doesn’t restrict your arm movements – we want you slinging like pros!
What should I wear on my feet?
No open toes! No high heels! No flip flops! Flatter is better when it comes to axe throwing.
Why can’t I book online for today? Can we just turn up?
We do need some time to prepare lanes and make sure there is someone who will take care of you. If you do not have any other time to come just call or email us and we will see what we can do for you.
Do you serve drinks?

We recommend giving yourself plenty of time to find us. If you’re late you will be wasting precious axe throwing time! Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so you get maximum throwing time.
Can people just watch?
Yes of course, if you think axe throwing isn’t for you you’re more than welcome to grab a drink at the bar and watch from a safe distance.

We speak both English and Czech. Please contact us for other languages as we may be able to provide a translator for you (additional costs may apply).
